Tilton School

4/27/2009 - Berwick Academy 9 v. Tilton School 6

Comeback Win for Bulldogs
Last Friday the Bulldogs played host to the rams of Tilton. It was a beautiful Friday at the academy on the hill, and the BA Bulldogs were eager to bolster their record back to .500 for the season.

Berwick struggled early on and had a sluggish start to the game, and as a result, Tilton jumped out to a quick three goal lead. However, Berwick never panicked, and instead of growing shell shocked by the deficit the team instead regrouped and worked on properly executing their offensive sets and playing a cleaner transition.

After the half-time break, Berwick came out and surged in the third quarter. Tom Hay made some incredibly unselfish passes on fast breaks, and Max Werman was able pop in a few buckets as a result.

The defense anchored by Aaron Harris and Chris Atwood continued to play physical and smart. They shut down the scoring threats of Tilton Academy, cleared the ball extremely well, and provided the team vocal and physical leadership.
