On Friday, May 1st the BA Laxmen took on ISL opponent The Brooks School in North Andover, Mass. The squad was determined to play this team tough after a below average performance on Wednesday against Bancroft. The game was a tight, low scoring, first half with both teams playing stingy defense. BA managed a last second goal by Peter Jenkinson from the top of the box off a beautiful pass from Tom Hay behind the net to end the half down 3-1. The second half did not bode well for the visiting Bulldogs as the Brooks School opened up the scoring with 6 unanswered goals to finish the game. The goalie for Brooks was outstanding and they played a disciplined zone defense that gave our team trouble. Cam Cain was a spark plug for the Bulldogs stepping in on the defensive end in key situations. The team travels to Worcester, Mass on Wednesday to take on Bancroft School.
